Answer: Inviting temporary and contract workers to your holiday party would be a company decision. Expressing your thanks to those vendors, including temporary workers, who have helped your business thrive over the year is a nice gesture. Of course, similar liabilities and exposure would exist for any participants related to behaviors that cross the line or intoxication (if alcohol is served), regardless of employment status.
