Night Working Hours and Minors
On May 15, 2019, New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu signed legislation (H.B. 223) limiting the number of night hours a youth may work per week. Under the law, youths who work more than two nights in a week, past 8 p.m. or before 6 a.m., may not work more than eight hours in any shift during that particular week.
The law is effective July 14, 2019.
