2019 Minimum Wage Increase
According to the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation, the state’s minimum wage increases for 2019 as follows:
- The state minimum wage increases to $9.10 per hour.
- The hourly minimum wage for tipped employees increases to $4.55 per hour.
These rates are effective January 1, 2019.
