Penalties for Equal Pay Act Violations Increasing

On February 8, 2019, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon signed legislation (H.B. 71) increasing the penalties for violations of the state’s equal pay provisions to no more than $500, imprisonment of up to six months, or both.

The law is effective July 1, 2019.
