Minimum Wage Increase
The Ohio Department of Commerce has announced that the state’s minimum wage will increase from $8.15 to $8.30 per hour on January 1, 2018. The wage for tipped employees will also increase from $4.08 to $4.15 per hour.
Ohio’s minimum wage is adjusted annually based on the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clericals Workers (CPI-W).
