This post is the last in a four-part series that honors Mineral’s month-long celebration of Pride and simultaneously educates and informs organizations to be stronger allies, advocates, and supporters of LGBTQ+ employees year-round. The series features several Mineralists as they discuss what Pride means to them through the lens of the Mineral mission to “elevate teams every day.”  

During Pride 2023, we were honored, privileged, and well … proud to celebrate and amplify the voices of our Mineralists as they shared their stories of celebration, education, and advocacy through their experience in and with the LGBTQ+ community. This month’s series marks Mineral’s biggest-ever Pride celebration, staying true to one of our four core values to be boldly driven.

We also lived our explore and innovate value this month, with last week’s post on the lessons learned from launching Mineral’s Pride employee resource group, as well as reminding we’re in this together—sharing tips to prevent anti-LGBTQ+ bias and strategies to support LBGTQ+ employees.

And of course, we couldn’t miss sharing our fourth core value, inspire joy. With that in mind, we close our Pride celebration with our virtual Pride parade. Watch below as Mineralists share what Pride and allyship mean to them, and how this month has helped inspire joy. Happy Pride!
